Two twins, Emma and Tom, and their mother move into an abandoned, ramshackle old house. The twins soon discover that not only is the house haunted, it hides a secret treasure, a legendary giant diamond. Enter two cutthroat villains who want the diamond back at any cost. In the ensuing treasure hunt, the twins get an unexpected leg-up from a genial ghost, the Fakir of Bilbao, who has been bottled up inside a ballpoint pen for half a century. With the help of their phantasmal new friend, the twins find the treasure, nab the crooks and bring a new man into their widowed mother's life. From the director of "Eye of the Eagle" (1997), an award winner at Laon, Zlín, Cairo and Copenhagen, and "The Olsen Gang Junior" (2001). |
